Sally Hansen is my summer BFF

At the moment I am absolutely LOVING Sally Hansen - she’s my new BFF.

I love the sun, but have such fare skin that I usually paste on the SPF which leaves me with hardly any colour at all, and most people blinded by the pastiness of my skin :) If you’re like me, try Sally Hansen legs to give you a natural looking glow. And best little secret - you don’t only have to use it on your legs! I use it all over :) The best part is it comes in different shades! I find the one too light and the other too dark, so my secret? I blend the two together forming the perfect match for my skin tone - AND it lasts forever! Viola, it’s like magic!

Keep Calm and ZUMBA

One of the things I love about Google is that you can search for basically anything and you're guaranteed to find it! The words "Keep Calm and Zumba" popped in my head today, so I Googled it and... VIOLA! This is what I found... These gorgeous little key rings. I am loving Zumba at the moment, and so I think I am going to get me some. Also they're great gifts - found them here.

Summer Glory

The sun has been quite temperamental these past few days,  peeking through my curtains only on some days! On days when the sunshine explodes through the clouds, and reveals the perfect day, a day at the beach is imperative (when not in the office, that is)! With that said, a day at the beach does not have to just be bikini and flip flops - why not add a little summer fashion into the mix. I have put together a little outfit just for one days beach adventure. I am loving pastel nail colours at the moment, and therefore find it important to paint on some O.P.I. pastels on my nails. Remember to plaster on the SPF - jooj up the hair, throw on some accessories, make your legs look longer with some ALDO wedge heels, or if you're tall like me - throw on some Coco Chanel pumps. Show off those sexy summer legs in denim shorts and away we go! Why not look FABULOUS when enjoying the sunshine!

Fitness Love

Neither Spring nor Summer seems to be finding its way to the West coast of Canada. I must say it can make one quite miserable - especially after going through a grueling 9 month freezing winter. Nevertheless, I have found something that gets the heart rate up on these gloomy days. The one and only ZUMBA!! Apparently it has been so popular around the rest of the world for so long, but I have only just recently discovered it - and I am addicted!  Not only is it a fantastic workout, it is SO MUCH FUN!


After a great workout session on a gloomy day, there's nothing better to do than to snuggle on the couch with a hot cup of herbal tea and a four-legged fluffy friend :)
